THERE ARE NO REFUNDS ON HORSE SALES - ONLY EXCHANGES.

First Time Buyers, Beginner, Novice, or Intermediate riders are welcome to bring a Professional Trainer and /or Licensed Veterinarian with you when you purchase your horse. Prospective buyers are welcome to view and inspect any horse(s) they are interested in purchasing but they will not be permitted to ride, in order to evaluate, any horses unless all the parties you need to make a purchase decision are present (this includes trainers and veterinarians).

Any evaluations, opinions, or advice concerning the sale transaction or return of any horse from anyone not present at the time of the purchase (such as a friend, farrier, trainer, veterinarian, etc.) will not be considered or accepted by Keith Ranches. We only accept a veterinarian written diagnosis as outlined in the "30 Day Exchange Option Guarantee" (see below).

All payment arrangements will be disclosed to the Keith Ranches and agreed upon prior to riding and/or evaluating any of the horse(s) by the buyer.

TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE ALL HORSES ARE SOUND AND HEALTHY

No swollen joints, bad eyes, lameness, nor bad feet. We feel all horses will be free of any dangerous vices or habits. No cribbing, bucking, rearing, kicking, nor biting. Some horses may have small cosmetic blemishes such as scratches or scars. All horses ages are represented as indicated on their Coggins tests.

30 DAY EXCHANGE OPTION GUARANTEE

If you are dissatisfied with your original purchase you have 30 days to exchange for another horse up to equal value from Keith Ranches inventory. This option is designed to make the customer at ease in making their own decision.

You must return your original purchase in as good or better condition as when purchased with no alterations of any kind. The "Exchange Option" is no charge for the first exchange unless the buyer requests a more expensive horse. If the horse is more expensive then the buyer must pay the difference in price at the time of the exchange.

Any horse(s) purchased with the pre-purchase assistance of a professional trainer and/or licensed veterinarian will not be eligible for the "30 Day Exchange Option". This is due to the fact that you have retained a professional to assist you with your purchase. Keith Ranches will not be responsible for their decisions because they are supposed to know what they are doing.

Any evaluations performed after your purchase and after the horse/s has left Keith Ranches, by a licensed veterinarian, will require a second opinion by a veterinarian of our choice before the "30 Day Exchange Option Guarantee" can be exercised. If your veterinarian misdiagnoses your horse, they will be billed for all expenses incurred by Keith Ranches. When Keith Ranches is compensated in full then your "Exchange Option" can proceed if your claim is valid.

TRADE INS

I will entertain some trade ins towards horse purchases (no colts, yearlings, unbroke horses, or stallions).

We only post complaints and our responses to formal written or emailed complaints concerning our horses and/or our business practices sent directly to us. We will respond to these but feel any others are not credible enough for our response. We can only resolve/respond to complaints that we know about.

Due to the fact that, to the best of our knowledge, we do not have a documented formal or written complaint concerning our horse sales/transactions since 2013 we only have the following statement concerning our "Complaints and Responses".

My website is very open, direct, and written in clear easy to understand language. I have a good reputation among good honest horse people all over the country, with at least 70% of my business arriving from repeat customers. I stick to my terms and conditions as I have them posted, so I can remain dependable and stay in business. My terms and conditions are posted 24/7 so you know what the “Deal” is before you ever call me or come to the ranch.

If you don’t like the terms and conditions, I prefer that you buy your horse somewhere else. I sell what I believe to be a good, sound, gentle horse at a reasonable price.

I do not sell “Bargains”. In order to sell a bargain, you have to cut corners somewhere, and with horses, cutting corners will get you injured or killed. I am not perfect, and you may purchase a horse that doesn’t measure up after you get home. If that happens, you have 30 days to decide if you want to keep or exchange your horse, and you have that in writing for all the world to see.
