"Tonto" is a 8 year old 14.2 hand gorgeous paint gelding. He comes from a working ranch in Central Texas and is very
gentle and personable. He is easy to catch, load, shoe, saddle and mount. He rides with a loose rein and will maintain
his gait until you ask him to change. He has a good neck-rein/direct rein (which ever you prefer), stop, and back-up
and will stand for you to mount and dismount. He has not gotten fresh after being turned out, and has not been spooky
or shy in the pen, in crowds, in the pasture or on the trails. Livestock and wildlife do not bother him. I feel good about
recommending this horse for beginner and novice riders, and I think the intermediate and experienced riders will
appreciate and enjoy him too. This is an attractive all around kind of a horse that I think would be good for a family,
working ranch, or on the trails.
