"Tex" is a super gentle, polite, disciplined 11 year old, 15.1 hand, sorrel ranch gelding. I feel that this horse can be
ridden by all levels of riders (including children and seniors). He comes from a large working ranch and has always
had good riders riding him, never letting him know a bad habit. He is not spooky or shy, has not offered to get fresh,
and is comfortable around livestock and wildlife, and does not get nervous or spooky in the pasture, on the trails, in
crowds, or in the pens. He is easy to catch, load, shoe, saddle, and mount. He rides on a loose rein (with a bridle or
lead rope and halter) and maintains his gait until you ask him to change. He will neck rein or direct rein (which ever
you prefer), stops good and will back-up. I believe this horse would be good for lessons, trail riding, as a family horse,
or a working ranch horse. "UPDATE" This horse has been slightly injured while turned out in the pasture. He
received two minor cuts on his left shoulder and has a slight limp in his right rear leg. With this in mind, I have
lowered his price until he is well. I have included pictures of the cut and a short video of his lameness.
