"Sloan" is an 8 year old 14.3 hand line back (buckskin) dun ranch gelding. This is a well behaved gentle horse that has not
shown me any bad habits, and has been easy to catch, load, shoe, saddle, and mount. He has not gotten fresh or frisky after
being turned out, and is not shy or spooky in crowds, in the pens, in the pasture, or on the trails. He rides with a loose rein, and
has a good one-hand neck rein, stop and back-up. He will maintain the gait you have him in until you ask him to change. He is
also comfortable around livestock and wildlife. I feel like this horse is gentle and broke enough for the beginner and novice
riders, and well trained enough to be appreciated and enjoyed by the intermediate and experienced riders. He is a nice
all-around kind of horse that I feel would be good for a family or working ranch.
