"Slimm" is a 15 hand, 13 year old, sorrel gelding. He is very gentle, rides quiet, responding well to your cues. He has a good
neck/direct rein ( which ever you prefer) and a good stop and back-up. He rides on a loose rein and maintains his gait until
you ask him to change. He has not acted fresh after we turned him out and is well behaved, He is not spooky or shy in
crowds, in the pen, in the pasture, or on the trails. Livestock, wildlife or brushy terrain do not bother him. He is easy to
catch, load, shoe, saddle and mount. This horse is excellent on the trails and in the lesson pen. He is also laid back enough
to be comfortable for beginner and novice riders, and broke enough to be appreciated by the intermediate and experienced
riders. This horse came from a large working ranch where the grazing was short. He is healthy, but needs to gain about
50-75 pounds to be at his proper weight. This is a good all-around kind of a horse that I think would be good for a family, a
working ranch, and on trails and the lesson pen.
