"Pecos" is a 13 year old, 14.1 hand dun ranch gelding. This is a really good riding horse that will impress the intermediate and experienced
riders. He has a good neck rein, good stop and back-up. He is a little "watchy" on the ground when he is fresh after being turned
out (this is
why I am not recommending him for beginner and novice riders) but is not spooky or shy in crowds, in the pasture, or on the trails.
Livestock and wildlife do not bother him He has no buck in him. He has worked a lot of cattle, including sorting (at the ranch) and roping
(in the pasture). He is easy to catch, load, shoe, saddle, and mount, and gets along good with other horses. This is a really flashy, gentle,
well broke all around horse that would be good for a working ranch, or trail rides.
