"Honest Abe" is a 13 year old, 15.2 hand super gentle sorrel ranch gelding. This is a horse that has been on a working ranch all of his life, and
ridden only by good riders. He never had a chance to learn a bad habit. He is well broke and very disciplined. If you can't ride this horse, give up
and get a golf cart or bicycle. Beginners and Novice riders (children and grandparents) will enjoy and feel safe on him. Intermediate and
experienced riders will really appreciate and enjoy him. He is easy to catch, load, shoe, saddle, and mount. He rides on a loose rein and
maintains his gait until you signal him to change, he also has a one-hand neck rein, stop, and back-up. This is a laid-back horse that has not
gotten fresh or frisky when turned out, is comfortable in crowds, in the pens, in the pasture, on the trails and around livestock and wildlife. I am
very comfortable recommending this horse for a family, trail rides, or a working ranch.
