"Cookie" is a 10 year old, 14.3 hand beautiful, super gentle, well broke paint mare. She is gentle for seniors, kids, beginners, and novice
riders to feel safe and enjoy. She is well trained enough to be appreciated and enjoyed by the Intermediate and Experienced riders also. She
rides on a loose rein, and maintains her gait until you ask her to change. She has a good one-hand neck rein, stop and back-up. She will ride
in all types of terrain, and is not bothered by livestock or wildlife. When we purchased her she had been turned out for several months, and
did not get fresh or frisky after being turned out, and does not get spooky in crowds, in the pens, in the pasture, or on the trails. She is very
disciplined and is easy to catch, load, shoe, saddle, and mount. She will ride with a halter, hackamore, or bit, it doesn't matter. We just
doctored her for ear ticks and she is still a little sensitive about pulling a bridle over her let ear. We will get her over that, but in the mean
time we are using a hackamore on her and she does fine (see video). This is a very honest gentle all-around kind of mare that I feel will be
good as a family horse, a working ranch horse, or a good trail horse. This mare is one of 4 mares that my wife has. She is cutting back to 2
