"Brass" is an 12 year old, 14.3 hand, line back dun/buckskin ranch gelding. He comes from a working ranch and has been
ridden by good riders all of his life. He is very disciplined and obedient. He has a good neck rein, stop, back-up, and is
responsive to his cues in a smooth gentle way. He might intimidate a timid beginner rider with his easy response. He rides
on a loose rein and will maintain his gaits until you ask him to change. We have actually ridden him with a halter and lead
rope. Livestock and wildlife do not bother him. He is easy to catch, load, shoe, saddle, and mount. He has never offered to
buck or rear. This is a pretty fancy, well disciplined, kind of horse that will make you look like a lot better rider than you
really are. Unless you are real serious about wanting a really good horse don't waste your time looking at him. He is a nice
clean all-around kind of a horse that I think would work on the trails, on a working ranch, or with a family.
