"Apache" is a 12 year old 14.3 hand buckskin paint ranch gelding. This is a really gentle, laid back, horse that is gentle
enough for the beginner and novice riders (including children and grandparents) and well trained and broke enough to
be appreciated and enjoyed by the intermediate and experienced riders. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being excellent) he has
a 7 neck-rein, and an 8 stop and back-up. I have not found any bad habits and he is easy to catch, load, shoe,
saddle, and mount. He is not spooky in crowds, in the pasture, on the trails, or around livestock and wildlife. He has
not gotten fresh or frisky after being turned out. He rides with a loose rein and goes where you point him. I think this
is a good gentle all-around kind of horse that will work for a family, trail rider, or working ranch.
