"Ace" is a 12 year old 14.2 hand broke, gentle, sorrel ranch gelding. I feel he definitely gentle enough for the beginner
(including seniors and children), and novice riders, and certainly well broke enough to be liked and appreciated by the
intermediate and experienced riders. This horse has a one-hand neck rein, stops and backs up. He rides with a loose rein
and does not change gaits unless you ask him to. He is laid-back, (but not lazy), very disciplined with good manners. He is
easy to catch, load, shoe, saddle, and mount. He has not gotten fresh or frisky after being turned out, and is not shy or
spooky in crowds, in the pasture, in the pens, or on the trails. He is also used to being around livestock and wildlife. I feel
like this is an nice honest all-around kind of horse that would be good on a working ranch, on the trails, lessons, or as a
family horse.
